My Bio Continued...
Later, I took interest in singing doowops which was a name we used for R&B during that time. I and four other fellow classmates at the school I attended got together everyday during lunch hour and sung songs by Frankie Lyman and the Teenagers, the Marcels, the Everly Brothers, the Dells, and other groups. My bio could be long enough to write a book, but to make a long story short, three of my classmates along with myself formed a group named the Infernos. We tried our best to become R&B recording artists, but never got the opportunity. Later, I joined a R&B group known as the Apollo Brothers. We recorded one 45 record entitled Shacking Up in 1973, which was a great record but never received the recognition it deserved. I decided to leave the group and get married to the wonderful wife I am still with today after twenty five years, who has also been a great inspiration in my life.

After helping my wife raise our six children and retiring from my job due to a disability after 37 and a half years, I went back to my original calling and recorded a gospel album entitled "Lord More Personal by Joseph". The contents of this CD is relating to the ups and downs I went through in my life.  But by the grace of God I am still here!

I truly pray that the testimony from this CD will reach out and help those who can relate to the same issues that I experienced. I am here to let you know that God did not bring you this far to let you go now.  Isn’t God great.  I pray this CD will be a blessing to you. Thank you for your purchase and may God continue to smile down on you.

Be Blessed,

Joseph
